Female Singer Looking for Musicians

Hello, I'm new-ish to the area and looking for people to make music with. I am a female in my 30's, who has been singing since elementary school age. I was a singer in a cover band in college, but we dispersed across the country after graduation before we could start to focus on original music. I can write; although, it has been a while since I've written music, but I do write regularly. The music I prefer is rock (all along the spectrum); however, some of the mainstream artists I like are Nothing More, Slipknot, Thrice, Stone Sour, Disturbed, Seether (among so many others) but I am flexible and open as you can probably see in the variations across the bands I listed.
