Job Description Custom Construction Services is a concrete and hardscape company that works throughout the Twin Cities metro. We are an active company that takes full advantage of our Spring through Fall work calendar in order to bring our customers the best in craftsmanship and value for their concrete and hardscape needs. We have been in business for over fifteen years performing work on projects such as driveways, patios, retaining walls, pavers, steps, walkways, and more. It is work that we take great pride in, and we are committed to applying our knowledge and expertise to each project. Currently, we are in search of new concrete tradesmen/ finishers to join our team for the upcoming season. We are looking for smart, hard- working individuals interested in a company that offers the opportunity to grow over the long term, as well as a welcoming, friendly work environment. Primary Responsibilities: · Demolition of existing concrete, stone, or asphalt surfaces as needed on jobsites · Grading/ determining the proper elevations for newly installed concrete projects to ensure proper slope and drainage for the property · Operating machinery and tools such as bobcats, skid loaders, saws, tampers, screeds, etc · Setting forms to ensure the correct installation of concrete and hardscape surfaces · Pouring concrete for items including driveways, patios, walkways, steps, etc · Raking concrete to spread along intended surfaces · Edging/ bull float/ mag float to flatten installed concrete surfaces · Handcut/ trowel control joints to help with the movement of concrete over the frost and thaw seasons · Stamping/ sealing/ brooming concrete to create decorative surfaces for projects requiring a more custom finish · Experience of the above items is required Custom Construction Services strives to provide our employees with the earnings they deserve.
