Description
An experienced photo student is looking for people who identify as male within the DMV area to participate in an anonymous photo series about male body image and self-love. All ages, race, orientations and body types are welcome and appreciated.
The artist is creating work for a magazine-style photobook that will be published to accompany an exhibition in the spring of 2022. The process will include a photoshoot in a lighting studio along with an interview about how gender identity and body image have impacted lived experiences.
Those who are photographed must be willing to sign a model release, and will receive a print of themselves made by the artist as a small thank you for their contribution.
