Tree Amigos is looking for a groundsman. If you are hardworking and committed to a high standard of tree care, then we would like to meet you! Job Duties: Performing residential and commercial tree pruning and removals in accordance with ANSI and company standards. Drag brush and move logs to the chipper. Operate chipper and chipper mounted winch. Operate mini loader with grapple. Cut brush and logs as necessary with chainsaw. Perform small removals and pruning from the ground with polesaw and power pruner. Learn to climb, prune and perform removals at a professional level if interested. Qualifications: A valid Tx Driver's License is required. Must speak fluent English. Presents a professional appearance and attitude. Must be able to lift and carry 100 lbs Compensation: We do not offer paid time off, healthcare or any other benefits at this time, instead preferring to offer very high wages to give employees the maximum amount of choice. We will offer $20-22/hr to a candidate depending on experience/ability with time and a half overtime available. About Us: We are a small (but growing!) tree service located in Cedar Park, Tx and operating throughout central Tx from Georgetown to Buda and occasionally further. We have a strong team of experienced and knowledgeable arborists with a commitment to a very high standard of tree care. We currently offer pruning, removal, stump grinding, and cabling services as well as root work services using an air spade, planting and some targeted pest treatments and plan to expand our services further over the coming years. We are fully insured. We do all our work with well maintained chippers and trucks, and have equipment for moving large logs as well. We maintain a 2+ month backlog year round and have for years. There will be no shortage of work. Typical days begin at 8 on the jobsite and end at 3:30 with a 30 minute lunch break. Some days are short, some days run long but most weeks people get 40-45 hours.
