Pu’uwai Design and Construction We are a leader in the Luxury Custom Residential Design and Build market. Our company’s focus is on designing and building high-end residential projects on the island of Kaua’i We’re looking to add a reliable skilled laborer to our team. In this position, you will complete a variety of construction tasks. It will be your job to ensure that those tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. The work that you do each day can change based on our needs. We’re looking for candidates who are capable of carrying out many different skilled labor tasks with minimal supervision. Responsibilities • Complete many different construction tasks, including drilling, painting, erecting scaffolding, and moving materials from one place to another • ensuring all tools, machinery, and other equipment are safely set up. • Operating equipment like drills and other power tools as well as hand tools • Obeying health and safety codes, as well as the company's principles • Performing site and equipment inspections. • Ensuring tasks are completed to deadlines. • Follow all local, state, and federal health and safety standards Requirements • Sound knowledge of construction and practical experience with tools. • A good understanding of safety procedures. • Great hand, eye, and foot coordination. • Ability to use a wide variety of tools • Capable of working well with minimal supervision • Willingness to learn and be part of a team • Positive attitude and great interpersonal skills. Minimum Qualifications • Minimum 5yrs experience in like employment. • High School Diploma or similar • Valid driver license
