Description
• Assist in providing porter services for Shopping Center and office building as specified by Property Manager. • Survey and respond to conditions in common area facilities such as bathrooms, common hallways, and outdoor spaces to ensure cleanliness, safety, and product availability. • Survey roofs and Landlord utility rooms to ensure cleanliness to reduce potential damage to roofing systems or equipment. • Assist Senior Technicians in repairing and replacing common area building systems such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, locks, light bulbs, wallpaper, paint walls, minor plumbing and flooring. • Assist Senior Technicians in outdoor repairs to fencing, doors, windows, railings, lighting, sidewalks and walkways, plantings, and minor asphalt repairs. • Operate building Fire alarm systems. • Escort and monitor outside vendors / contractors while providing them access to roofs as well as all Landlord utility areas. • Respond immediately to emergency situations and Tenant issues as assigned. Will be required to be “on-call” when needed. • Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions, as well as preventative maintenance issues. • Assist vendors in Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly inspections of facilities and systems. • Assist Senior Technicians in minor carpentry projects as well as minor Tenant buildouts. • Assist in seasonal decorations placement and removal. • Power washing and maintenance of sidewalks, retaining walls, facades, compactor, and dumpster areas. • Perform minor seasonal functions such as snow removal, deicing, raking, sweeping and leaf blowing. • Comply with Uniform dress code while working and maintain a neat and clean appearance while on the property. • Assist Senior Technicians in maintaining and inventorying equipment, parts, and supplies. • Assist with special events on the Property. Duties and Responsibilities: • Conduct all business in accordance with company policies, procedures, ADA, local, state and federal safety laws. Qualifications/ Skills: • Possess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance. • Ability to work well in a team environment. Positive attitude. • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times on/off property; this includes the ability to communicate with patrons, tenants, co-workers and upper management. • Neat, clean and professional at all times while on or around the premises. • Qualifications 2-4 Years Maintenance or Related Experience. High School Diploma/Equivalent (GED) • Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English • Proactive and strong work ethic and initiative Physical Requirements: • Able to lift 50 + lbs. • Able to work in confined spaces. • Able to work in hot or cold environments, as well as outside in inclement weather. • Able to work at height (on ladders, scissor lifts and/or booms). Wage Status: Salary. Benefits: Medical (with a Partial Employee Contribution), Dental, Paid Vacation Days and Paid Holidays. Hours and Days of Work: Typical work schedule is Monday through Friday (9:00 AM-5:30 PM), however, there will be days where you will be required to work evening, night and/or weekend hours.
