WE ARE HIRING IMMEDIATELY* *We Will Train You* *Pay $17.00-$19.00 Hourly * We are currently seeking mechanically inclined individuals who have working knowledge of a variety of tools to fulfill the role of Utility Field Services Technician in our Water department. This position involves the maintenance and assessment of hydrant valves and water systems in the state of Florida. Please submit a resume to be considered *Per Diem Starting at $50.00 a Day* *Must 21 and Over to Apply* *Must Have a Valid Driver’s License* Responsibilities Include: · Conduct hydrant inspection of flow valves and water pressure outflow. · Collect relative data in relation to the hydrants and valves. · Maintain hydrants and valves by utilizing hydrant paint, conducting flow tests and greasing mechanical parts. · Establish a safe work zone including positioning safety items such as traffic cones and signs. · Mark locations on the job site with utility marking paint as required. · Assist in proper documentation. Qualifications: · High School Diploma or GED. · Valid Driver's License with a good driving record. · Must have the ability to travel up to 1 week at a time within state lines. · Must be comfortable using a computer/tablet and various software and applications. · Must be able and willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions. · Must perform manual tasks with attention to detail. · Must be able to work independently as well as with a team. · Must be mechanically inclined.
