Prison Fellowship has been given an unprecedented invitation to work in Maine State prisons - come join us for lunch and to learn more.
Prison Fellowship has been given an unprecedented invitation to work in Maine State prisons in 2022. You are invited to come and hear about Prison Fellowship, the new initiatives being launched in Maine, and how you and your church can be a part of this exciting new work. Lunch will be provided.
Speakers:
John Rowland, Development Director for Prison Fellowship in NE US
Like the founder of Prison Fellowship Chuck Colson, John Rowland experienced a “Fall from Grace” and spiritual transformation. He was elected the youngest state representative in Connecticut, the youngest Congressman in the U.S. and the youngest Governor in the country. After serving for almost 10 years as Connecticut’s Governor he resigned from office during a federal investigation and served 10 months in a federal prison camp. Years later he hosted “Church and State” a popular radio show on WTIC-AM with Pastor Will Marotti. After almost 5 years on the radio he was convicted on campaign finance violations and spent 15 months in a federal prison camp. He is now the Development Director for Prison Fellowship Ministry, covering the northeast United States. He will talk about spiritual transformation for those incarcerated and “Hope”.
Mark Knowlton, Northeast Regional Director for Prison Fellowship.
Mark oversees in-prison programming across the region, including the Prison Fellowship Academy, the Angel Tree program, Hope Events and bible distribution.
Deborah Jacobs, Maine Field Director for Prison Fellowship
