Join the Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition for our spring Canal Cleanup along the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail! The Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition's Canal Cleanup program offers a number of opportunities through the year to become a steward for your local natural resources. We'll host 25 volunteers along the Ohio & Erie Canal in Akron to keep our waterway and public space clean as we head into the warm weather season. All tools are provided, though you are welcome to bring your own gloves if you prefer. If you are interested in participating, sign up now! Due to current challenges and concerns, this program will be limited to 25 participants. Special snacks and water will be provided. This program is open to youth and adults, with the waiver for the program added in the ticket description. Please review the waiver before signing up.
