The Richmond Crusade for Voters hosts a membership event supporting the Jim Pettis Musical Production "A Change is Gonna Come" on March 31st Please join us for a membership event to support voter education and recruit youth involvement ages 18 to 30. Richmond Crusade for Voters is proud to support the Jim Pettis Productions musical play "A Change is Gonna Come" to be held at the Henrico Theater in Henrico County, VA on March 31st, 2022. In 1956 the objectives of the Richmond Crusade for Voters were to increase the African American votes in Richmond, VA through year round voter registration activities , increasing political awareness, and promoting equality. This event not only educations the public on the Richmond Crusade for Voters mission and goals, but African American history that exhibited the needs for equality. Jim Pettis productions brings the February 1st 1960 Greensboro Sit -In, to life in this musical play. General Admission : $20 Non-Refundable Donation.
