Rockwood Retirement Communities is hiring F/T custodian for our South Hill & Whitworth campuses for the night & day shift. The Custodian is responsible to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors, and team members. The Custodian/Floorcare Specialist will be responsible for cleaning and caring for all types of flooring (i.e. carpet, tile, linoleum, vinyl, etc.). Responsibilities Vacuuming and cleaning carpets Dust mopping, wet mopping and buffing Trash removal Delivering packages Move furniture for residents Set up for social events Member of the snow removal crew Required Skills and Experience High school diploma or GED six months related work experience and/or training Basic housekeeping skills, knowledge of carpet cleaning, and general floor care. Experience in hospitality, senior housing/healthcare preferred.
