Short Film Screening & Community Panel Discussion This short film is a non-fiction visual representation of a marginalized group reclaiming their power in an aggregately hostile modern space. Film is directed by the 2021 People's Choice DMV 35 Under 35 Kwame Edwards. The screening will be followed by panel discussion. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. In consideration for the safety of the High Road Cycling Café staff and panelists, physical space to properly social distance, surging numbers, and new Washington DC indoor vaccination mandate, in-person attendance will be capped @ 30. Proof of vaccination status will need to be furnished to enter High Road Cycling Café on Sunday, January 16th, in accordance with Washington DC mandate. Masks will be required when not eating and/or drinking. DDue to the in-person attendance being limited, this event will be also be livestreamed. Registered guests will be sent the appropriate links to view the event and will be given instructions on how to interact with the panelists virtually.
