American Rock band The Strangers perform their debut album and more live at the premier Astra Theatre with special guests Keep on Trail. About the Event: One Night Only: American Rock band The Strangers perform live in concert at the premier Astra Theatre in Jasper, Indiana celebrating the release of their self-titled, debut album. Hosted by Wally Opus Records, the all-ages show features special Alternative Rock guests, Ferdinand’s own, Keep on Trail. Doors open at 5:30pm with Keep on Trail taking the stage at 6:30pm. Band merchandise will be for sale and concessions will be available, including adult beverages for guests 21+. Be a part of Southern Indiana music history as the event will be filmed and recorded live for use as an official Strangers music video. About The Strangers: Following the sudden, tragic loss of their first drummer, Noah Loper, The Strangers emerge from the wreckage of Death’s merciless blow with 8 songs full of roaring guitar riffs, tell-all lyrics, driving bass lines, and pumping, hallow drum tracks. Fuse together ripping guitar riffs like Hendrix with a pumping rhythm section like Zepplin, add in catchy hooks flavored like Nirvana, and you get the fresh and excitingly alive new sound of The Strangers. Hailing from Southern Indiana, the four-piece American Rock band is now comprised of Lucas Washington on lead vocals, Rylan Cox on guitar, Kadin Rea on bass, and Teelin Atteberry taking over on drums. Set for release on Wally Opus Records, The Strangers self-titled debut album goes live on Bandcamp and all major streaming platforms on March 1, 2022 followed by a Spring tour around the Midwest kicking off March 5 with their album release show at the premier Astra Theatre. About Keep on Trail: Keep On Trail is an Alternative Rock trio based in Southern Indiana. The group was formed in 2016 when long time friends Michael Wilmes (guitar and vocals) and William Gudorf (percussionist) got together for an afternoon jam in the garage. They have now been playing in the Indiana and Ohio region for 6 years adding a third member, Fred Waninger (bass guitar), in late 2021. Keep On Trail’s debut album “Through The Canyon” released in December 2020 to positive reactions, and in October 2021, they released their sophomore album, “The Basement”.
