Description

The couple that plays together stays together! An interactive and educational workshop for couples to connect through improv. The couple that plays together stays together! Stomping Ground knows that it’s important for couples to be playful with each other and always be growing in their relationship. Sometimes, planning a fun date night outside of the typical dinner and a movie is needed to spark things up. A relationship with a significant other can be the most important relationship in a person’s life; influencing mood, emotional well-being, and state of mind. That’s why we created Improv for Couples, a workshop designed to help couples become in sync with one another through a playful and safe environment while building relationship skills to improve communication, trust and emotional connection. Gottman Method Couples Therapy concepts will be taught and practiced throughout the workshop with a licensed therapist. Couples will laugh and connect in a unique way and leave feeling equipped with a new set of communication skills to grow their relationship. Taught by psychotherapist Andrea Baum, M.Ed., LPC and Artistic Director , Lindsay Goldapp. All students must adhere to policies in the Stomping Ground Student Handbook. Must be 18 years or older. Masks are strongly recommended for students who are not fully vaccinated. Classrooms and common areas will be sanitized prior to each class.
