Obtain you LTC through this 4 hour course YES…Constitutional Carry allows you to carry a handgun in Texas without a license…However: 1. You NEED to understand the complex laws, limitations, and ramifications of carrying and using your handgun. There are HUGE variables that Constitutional Carry does not profess to address. And then, what IF you need to use it to protect yourself or your family? 2. You NEED to know HOW to properly handle, load, and FIRE your handgun while continuing to perfect that skill. 3. You NEED to be able to LEGALLY carry your firearm to the 36 States that share reciprocity with Texas. 4. With your License to Carry You may go to a gun store/show, pay, and leave with the firearm you just bought. 5. You will earn the recognition of law enforcement when they KNOW you took the time and effort to earn you Texas DPS License to Carry. DPS License to Carry A 4+hour qualification course. Approved by the Texas Department of Public Safety What if the Texas Legislature removed all licensing requirements for Doctors, Lawyers, Drivers, REALTORS, etc. like they did with firearm Concealed Carry? What would then happen? The Texas State Approved Concealed License to Carry Course is required for pre-approval for a Texas LTC. Learn about the laws regarding firearms. The DPS License to Carry course is a minimum 4-hour course approved by the Texas Department of Public Safety and offered by CHLexpress.
