Successful completion of this class will allow you to apply for an Illinois Concealed Carry License. This is the basic handgun and concealed carry combination class. Both classes are necessary and required to apply for your Illinois Concealed Carry License. When you sign up for this class, basic handgun is also included. The range fee is no extra charge! Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. The course is a complete guide to understanding conflict avoidance and situational awareness; home security and home defense; handgun, shotgun and AR-15 basics; shooting fundamentals; the physiology of violent encounters; the legal aspects of using deadly force (including knowing what to do in the aftermath); and a complete guide on gear, gadgets, and ongoing training. What To Bring Handgun Ammunition - 100 Close-toed Shoes Thick Belt Lunch Water / Beverage Pen & NotebookStudents do not need a FOID card to attend this class. Students attending day two are required to bring their own firearm or may rent one of ours. Students will be required to provide their own ammunition or may purchase from the instructor.
