See the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum's "They Were All Stars" Traveling Exhibit at Concordia University Texas. Concordia University Texas, located in Northwest Austin, is hosting the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum's (NLBM) "They Were All Stars" Traveling Exhibit throughout February in recognition of Black History Month. The exhibit is open to the public on Saturday, February 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can see the exhibit for free in Cedel Hall on Concordia University Texas' campus. The NLBM is the only museum in the world dedicated to preserving and celebrating the history of African-American baseball and its impact on the social advancement of America. The "They Were All Stars" Exhibit features rare photos, biographical sketches, and other artifacts designed to illustrate the immediate impact that Negro Leagues had on Major League Baseball. The NLBM exhibit covers momentous occasions, including Jackie Robinson's breaking of the color barrier in 1947 and the final team to integrate in 1959.
