Description

This class will help participants learn a systematic, organized and comprehensive approach to training one-on-one. The goal is to provide practical information tailored to the needs of those who are responsible for co-worker training as one of their job responsibilities. The class includes the following topics: Principles of adult learningNeeds analysisOutlining targeted jobsWriting training proceduresSequencing trainingDeveloping training plans and recordsImplementing a training programEvaluating trainingMaintaining the training systemThe class is highly interactive and includes numerous short activities to reinforce learning.INSTRUCTOR Julie Sanom ATTENDANCE Registered participants who fail to attend a class ('no-shows') will be charged full class cost. The 'no-show' fee may not be used as a credit for another EN class, or other type of event or service. A 'late notice' charge (50% of the class fee) will be charged for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled class starting time. The 'late notice' charge may not be used as a credit for another EN class. or other type of event or service. EN provides training, information, and guidance to help its members recruit, train, engage and retain associates in workplaces that value sound management practices and enlightened employer-employee relations programs. Our training services include leadership skills, team-building, service excellence, human resources issues, and computer software.
