Film Screening of Clarissa Uprooted: Youth and Elders Uncover the Story of Black Rochester
Join the RAF during Black History Month for a screening of locally produced documentary Clarissa Uprooted: Youth and Elders Uncover the Story of Black Rochester. The film depicts the Third Ward as a microcosm of Rochester's history and features some of the Elders who lived this history, and the youth who are living with the consequences today.
The film runs just under 30 minutes and a panel of Elders and Youth will follow for a Q&A session immediately following.
The screening will take place in Theater 1 at the Little Theater. Doors open at 6:15pm with the film beginning at 7pm. Please note that proof of vaccination, photo ID, and a mask are required upon entry.
