TEWKSBURY, MA — Tewksbury police arrested two men and charged both with Fentanyl trafficking Friday, Chief Ryan Columbus said. The police seized roughly 33 grams of fentanyl and an unspecified amount of cocaine following a Main Street investigation Friday, Columbus said. William Prim, 57 of Tyngsborough and Victor Cordeiro, 48 of Lowell, were both charged with trafficking over 10 grams of fentanyl and possession of a class B substance, the chief said. The two men were due to be arraigned in Lowell District Court Monday. "We continue to aggressively pursue those who profit from the suffering and misery of others by selling these substances in our community, while we also provide resources to those with substance use disorder," Columbus said. "I applaud our officers and detectives for their diligent work." All people are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
