Celebrate your sweetie Monday, Feb. 14 with a wine tasting and small bite food pairing event at The Collegiate Hotel. Enjoy the event one of two ways: STAY & PLAY--Check-in early and sleep in late with your King room reservation for the night of Feb. 14 at The Collegiate. Reserving your room lets you pick the best time from 5-9 p.m. to "taste and tour" 4 wine tasting stations positioned throughout the hotel. During this self-guided wine and small bite tasting tour , you will visit the Hotel Lobby, Porch, Rooftop and Samford Balcony suites and enjoy pours of four global wines paired with a regional small bite. Local sommelier Josh Nagel from Alabama Crown will be on hand to answer any and all your questions about wine! Charcuterie trays featuring a wide array of sweet and savory treats will also be available to sample as you walk around the hotel. Cost: $230 for Monday, Feb. 14 room stay and tasting for two JUST PLAY-- Reserve your spot at The Collegiate for Monday, Feb. 14 to "taste and tour" 4 wine tasting stations positioned throughout the hotel. During this self-guided wine and small bite tasting tour, you will visit the Hotel Lobby, Porch, Rooftop and Samford Balcony suites and enjoy pours of four global wines paired with a regional small bite. Local sommelier Josh Nagel from Alabama Crown will be on hand to answer any and all your questions about wine! Cost: $80 per couple for tasting only The Collegiate is offering 3 times you can "taste at your own pace". You can review these time slots on the ticket page and purchase your preferred time slots as noted on the ticket. You can Come ANYTIME during that two hour block and enjoy your wine and bites. For those purchasing rooms, you can enjoy the tasting at anytime from 5-9 p.m. You will get additional information at check-in.
