LONG BEACH, NY — While the omicron cases are steadily receding on Long Island, Mount Sinai South Nassau is holding a "Vaxmobile" event on Friday in Long Beach. Pfizer boosters will be provided by appointment only at St. Mary of the Isle from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. To schedule the shot, you can call 516-377-5333 or check out the hospital's website: www.southnassau.org/sn/vaxmobile. Only adult doses for ages 12 and up will be given. Everyone must show their ID and original vaccine cards at the time of getting the booster. The latest data shows the positivity falls to 10.9% on Long Island, according to Gov. Hochul's office.
