Information via CT Lottery STAMFORD, CT — Luck has struck Stamford, with several winning lottery tickets sold around the city in recent days. According to the Connecticut Lottery, Joel Castillo Sanabria, of Norwalk, won $10,000 after playing the "Win Up To $10,000 A Month For Life" game. Sanabria purchased the ticket at the Shell gas station located at 582 Newfield Ave. in Stamford. Another Norwalk resident, Mark Evans, won $10,000 this week after playing a lotto game from Shippan Candies, located at 320 Shippan Ave. Last week, Stamford resident Suyapa Ordonez won $50,000 by playing the Super Cashword 22 game at West Main Convenience at 417 W. Main St. in Stamford.
