This is a required course in order to get licensed as an Armed security officer in the State of Florida. Please Read This Important Message! The Florida Class G – Armed Security Officer Training Course is a Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services required course in order to apply for a Florida Armed Security License. This 28 Hour Course meets all training requirements needed for licensure. Monday to Wednesday 8:00 am (08:00) to 6:00 pm (18:00) and costs $175.00.   The price includes: - Classroom Fee - Everything you need to know to complete the licensing requirements set forth by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to get licensed as a Armed Security Officer. - Certificate of Completion for Class G - Range Fee Please bring to class: - Your state I.D. or Driver’s License, - Pen - Note Pad or Paper for notetaking   Additional items needed for Day 3 (Wednesday): - Bring your UNLOADED handgun and UNLOADED magazine in a bag or case on the required day the instructor instructs you to bring the handgun to the shooting range. - Only standard handgun calibers can be shot on the range.  - Bring 150 pistol rounds for the qualification exercise.  - Bring extra ammo for practice. - Safety Glasses - Baseball cap Business Checks accepted if sponsored (Sorry no personal Checks) Refunds: Attendees can receive refunds up to 30 days before the initial registered course start date.
