EVENT SUMMARY Three days of educational opportunities specifically for both experience and new flood adjusters/examiners including required annual flood certification. Networking opportunities with adjusters, examiners and management. Mentor program enrollment for adjusters new to flood claims handling. Enhance your adjusting skills for 2022 deployment. During these three days of training, learn from the best in the field.  We will focus on proper flood claims handling from receipt of loss to final submission and invoicing. Topics of discussion will include correct claim set-up, timelines for reporting Preliminary, Status and Final Reports, "hot buttons" for Examiners, correct file order, and many other claims handling tips. You’ll learn about new tools and support processes to help enhance the claim experience for you and the policyholder. Our goal is help you streamline the process, deliver a consistent, timely work product and succeed as an adjuster. Upon completion, you will qualify to receive your FCN card or Mentor card for 2022 and be added to the deployment roster for the 2022 storm season. THIS CONFERENCE MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE CERTIFICATION PRESENTATION. Adjusters seeking to become certified must attend an NFIP Adjuster Certification Presentation and apply for certification with the NFIP Bureau and Statistical Agent. NFIP standards and requirements for Adjuster Certification may be viewed at https://nfipservices.floodsmart.gov/claims/adjuster-participation.  Adjusters not meeting the qualifications for certification will be reviewed for inclusion in the Administrative Strategies FACP Program.
