BROOKLINE, MA — A fire that broke out early Tuesday morning at an unoccupied home in Brookline is being investigated as arson, said police.
Fire officials said the blaze broke out around 3 a.m. at 89 Woodland Road. One firefighter suffered a minor injury.
Residents in the area of Pine Manor College are asked to share any exterior video surveillance available between 12:40 a.m. and 2:40 a.m. Investigators said they have reason to believe that the suspect was walking in the area of Pine Road, Woodland Road, Glenoe Road, and Hammond Street during this time frame.
"We appreciate your assistance in this matter to ensure the continued safety and security of your neighborhood and homes," said the Brookline Police Department in a statement.
