District officials say the reorganization is intended to help increase their student graduation rate. The decision follows recent findings from a New York City school where students saw a 95% success in graduation rates when separated by gender. The pass grants one admission to the fair each day and is a discount of $45 for people who attend all twelve days. The passes will go on sale on Tuesday, Feb. 8, at 9 a.m. (wyrk.com)The Buffalo Center for Arts & Technology was named the 2021 Neighborhood Champion by Bank of America. As the winner of the award, the BCAT will receive $50,000 in grant support and a chance to participate in comprehensive leadership training. Organization officials say they plan to the funds to expand the BCAT's workforce development hub to adults who are struggling with underemployment and unemployment.
