CAPE MAY COUNTY, NJ — A West Wildwood police officer arrested in November has admitted to making death threats against his former girlfriend, according to a report. Dylan J. Keenan-Hannum, 30, of the Del Haven section of Middle Township, pleaded guilty to a charge of terroristic threats before a Cape May County judge on Tuesday, the Press of Atlantic City reported. Keenan-Hannum was arrested Nov. 14 by the Lower Township Police Department on charges of burglary, terroristic threats and simple assault, the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office said. The November news release did not go into details on the accusations that led to the charges. In court, Keenan-Hannum agreed to a plea deal that includes four years of probation and he has forfeited his job as a police officer. He is no longer eligible to hold other public positions and agreed to surrender any firearms and turn in his firearms purchaser identification card, the Press of Atlantic City reported.
