Nephew Charged After Body Found In Bucks Co. Park

BENSALEM, PA — The man who police said killed a 50-year-old woman and dumped her body in Neshaminy State Park has been formally charged, Pennsylvania State Police announced Wednesday. Andrew D. Jennings, 20, of Philadelphia, faces first degree murder and related counts in the death of Lisa Jennings. Andrew Jennings had been in custody since Jan. 11. According to police, he is Ms. Jenning's nephew. Lisa Jennings was found in the Bensalem park on Jan. 8, and after a brief investigation, Bucks County Coroner Meredith Buck confirmed that she had been stabbed to death. Two days later, the Pennsylvania State Police executed a search warrant of 2129 East Cambria Street in Philadelphia, where it was determined that the murder had taken place there. Further investigation on the same day found that Andrew Jennings had traveled from the Philadelphia resident to Neshaminy State Park in the early hours of Jan. 8. Andrew Jennings was arrested on Jan. 11 and later charged with murder, obstructing justice, abuse of a corpse, and tampering with evidence. Police say that it was determined Andrew Jennings had acted alone in this crime; no one else is currently being sought. He is still incarcerated in Bucks County Prison.
