Description

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Laguna Beach residents will want to avoid a particular stretch of Jasmine Street staring Wednesday, as the city's contractor will be installing new drainpipe along the road as part of the Jasmine Storm Drain Improvements project, the city announced on its website. Congested traffic and parking impacts in the area and expected, the city wrote on its website. Due to the construction, the southbound left-turn from North Coast Highway to Jasmine Street and northbound Jasmine Street from Cliff Drive to Cedar Way will be closed until the end of February. The northbound left-turn lane from North Coast Highway to Jasmine Street will be closed intermittently on weekdays between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and residents should be wary of driving in that area, as parking and traffic impacts are anticipated. For more information regarding the ongoing project, the city asked residents to contact Public Works Project Manager Matthew Oxford at (949)-613-4045 or by email.
