Need help switching or removing ill-installed gate

E Hadley St near E 22nd Ave, Phoenix AZ

Description

Somebody hired a totally incompetent person to install a gate at the end of my driveway that ONLY opens outward. When open, the gate blocks the sidewalk. I have to get out and open the gate, back out, find somewhere safe to pull over to put it back. Obviously, same thing if I'm coming back from an errand, etc. Does anybody have the skills to fix this mess or minimally. just take them off completely?
