Researchers at Arizona State University are looking for participants who recently tested positive for COVID-19 to examine the anti-inflammatory effects of naturally derived supplements. ASU Nutrition/Biodesign Research Study: Fighting Inflammation WE ARE RECRUITING HEALTHY INDIVIDUALS WHO RECENTLY TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID-19 TO EXAMINE ANTI-INFLAMMATORY EFFECTS OF SUPPLEMENTAL PALMITOYLETHANOLAMIDE (from peanut oil) AND CURCUMIN (from turmeric) • Participation is voluntary. If you tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 10 days but experienced no-to minimal symptoms and are now feeling well – please complete our survey. • We are also recruiting individuals who tested positive for COVID-19 and were later vaccinated. • You must be 18 years of age or older to participate in this study. Participation includes taking supplements (active ingredient or placebo) daily for 4 weeks. There will be a blood draw both pre- and post-intervention. You will receive $150 check for participation.
