Lilliput Play Homes, an upscale Children's Play Home manufacturer, seeks to hire persons who have construction experience and are available to travel to do installation of our products on sites throughout the US. This individual would work at times in our Finleyville facility, but would also travel to customer locations, interact with customers and assemble our commercial or residential playhouses on site. Our products are proudly made in the south hills of Pittsburgh with unique styles, finishes and details. Responsibilities include: -Traveling to job sites to install commercial and residential playhouses. Ability to feel comfortable with flying and moving through airports. -Assembling, and engaging in touch-up and trim work to our predetermined specification accurately and up to our standard of quality. -Reading drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements. -Physically carrying prefabricated playhouse panels to their predetermined locations, and assembling the sections based upon instructions. -Being able to handle small adjustments which may be encountered on site. -Ensuring that floors and roofs are level and compatible. Skills required: -Some experience in carpentry/construction -Ability to communicate and coordinate with clients -Short term travel (2-5 days) per project. Occasional international travel may be requested. (Employer will work to get employee appropriate passport if required.) -Ability to carry 50 pounds -Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times. -Willingness to work with fellow installers and co-workers in a cooperative team approach. -Possessing a mature and responsible work ethic. -Drivers License required. In addition to a very competitive pay, this position also receives commission pay and travel reimbursement.
