Experienced Marine Fire Suppression Technician wanted Alexander Gow Fire Equipment Company is a local, family-owned company established in 1923. We're looking for an experienced Fire Suppression Technician to join our Marine Department. Our Marine Fire Suppression Technicians work on vessels of all sizes around the Puget Sound area and beyond. Duties include: Inspecting and testing fire suppression systems, including CO2 and Clean Agent Inspecting and testing all kinds of fire extinguishers Using a piping machine for installations of gaseous fire suppression systems Inspecting self-contained breathing cylinders and apparatus units Inspecting and testing fire hoses Recharging/Hydrotesting all kinds of fire extinguishers and fire suppression cylinders This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week Monday - Friday from 7:30 am - 4pm with occasional overtime. Starting pay is $24 - $35 per hour based on experience.
