West Hollywood Family looking for Household Manager/Nanny
We moved from San Francisco last year and are looking for an experienced household manager/nanny to help us with our two young kids (3 years old and 4 months old) as well as general management of our home life in West Hollywood. Primary focus will be on ensuring the kids are taken care of with some additional responsibilities around managing the house.
Responsibilities
* Clean the children’s living spaces, such as their bedrooms, bathrooms and playrooms
* Take children to all their scheduled activities and appointments, including school, various classes and play dates
* Organize creative activities and educational games (e.g. drawing, crafting and puppet games)
* Prepare children’s meals and feed them (including bottle-feeding for babies)
* Change diapers and bathe infant and assist older child with bath/shower
* Drive kids to/from school and activities
In addition, we are hoping this person can assist us with more general tasks:
* Light housekeeping of kitchen, living areas (we have house cleaners who come 2x per week, but with two kids are looking for tidying, etc.)
* Management and scheduling of vendors including landscaping, cleaning, maintenance, etc.
* Ordering and/or shopping for groceries
Requirements
* Previous experience as a nanny, babysitter and/or house manager
* Excellent understanding of child development in different age stages
* Ability to come up with creative ideas to educate and engage children
* Multitasking skills
* Flexibility on timing/schedule
* Clean driving license
* High school diploma; further training in child development preferred
* First aid certification is a plus
* Spanish speaker also a plus
