Upon starting this job you will begin as a helper to learn the company procedures and expectation and then will slowly be transitioned into the Swimming Pool Technician position as the route grows. Please read all the requirements as they are non-negotiable however no experience can be overlooked for the right individuals. Job Requirements: ⁃ Must be at least 21 years of age ⁃ Have a valid drivers license ⁃ Have a clean driving history ⁃ Must be coachable ⁃ Must be punctual ⁃ Must have a good attitude ⁃ Must have good communication skills ⁃ Must have good interpersonal skills ⁃ Must have good hygiene and look presentable ⁃ Must be able to take initiative ⁃ Must be customer service oriented ⁃ Must be a team player and be able to work independently ⁃ Must be able to lift 50+ lbs ⁃ Must be detail oriented ⁃ Must be able work in all weather conditions. As a swimming pool technician you will have the pleasure of servicing and maintaining our customers residential swimming pools according to company standards. You will be assigned a designated route daily with a route supervisor for ongoing training Responsibilities: ⁃ Test water and understand water chemistry ⁃ Understand what chemicals need to be added and how much to maintain water chemistry. ⁃ Identify types of Algae growth and how to treat algae blooms ⁃ Ensure equipment is running correctly ⁃ Brush all horizontal surfaces and walls as needed. ⁃ Vacuum swimming pool and spas as needed using a Hammerhead. (Manual vacuum as needed) ⁃ Empty skimmer baskets and pump baskets ⁃ Empty cleaner bags and clean wall screens ⁃ Skim pool and spa surface ⁃ Clean cartridge and DE filters ⁃ Backwash sand and DE filters ⁃ Communicate all issues you run into daily
