(Varies with hours needed.) Hello! My name is Debbie. My husband Gary and I are Licensed childcare providers. We are both licensed, CPR, and First Aid certified, and have a "Teacher's LEVEL III SENIOR TEACHER" level of experience thru Idaho Stars childcare program. We care for an average of 4 to 9 kids per/day. Children range in age from 1 1/2 years up to age 11. We have two large areas for play and outside too!!! (These are a living room and also a large sunroom.) There's also plenty of toys and play equipment both inside and out. Our backyard is a fully fenced playground area. **New playground items are: A new, large jungle gym with three separate/different types of slides!!! It also includes 2 large climbing forts with a look out area and telescope, a walkway "catwalk" to a separate Tower, a rock climbing wall, and a climbing rope ladder. The swing set, a glider and up-side down "monkey" rings & hanging seat. It is all so much fun!!! We have been doing Childcare for 23+yr's. We enjoy our job, and really love caring for kids. At our childcare/pre-school, we offer kids a loving, safe environment. we offer a wide variety of fun activities and projects to keep them having fun while still learning. We provide Fun creative ways to get the children to work on their Coordination &fine motor skills. Thru the use of Blocks, puzzle time, inter-active games and learning. EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES: an environment which is conducive to learning. We work with the children in the areas of Pre-School and Kindergarten. Here are examples; * ABC's with Phonics and 123's, Colors, Shapes, numbers, etc.., Also Art, & limited use of Computers. We incorporate Learning workbooks, Games, and Flashcards, some limited children's computer learning games & teaching tools. *Indoor/and Outdoor play w/lots of play equipment. *A large screen TV for Movies and Cartoons! We do various, fun games for indoors and out. Small hoop-basketball indoors summer; Tag games, and other outdoor games. *Singing and even sometimes a bit of dancing. *Warm weather; Waterslide,water balloons, water -squirtguns, & sprinckler games. *Arts and Crafts; Projects *Dramatic Play; (with many interesting costumes for dress-up), & puppet shows. *Story time & reading during quiet time. *There are also many various stimulating activities where the kids have a lot of fun, while also learning--such as; Water play, Movies, Cartoons, Short walks, etc... *Some Periodic FIELD TRIPS to Zoo's and Parks, and In-door Jungle Gyms, & for older children, possibly trips to swimming Pools.&/or Water fountains and water type play parks! *As a CHRISTIAN Childcare we also provide a lot of Love, and we teach the children Virtues and Character training. This is accomplished, at least in part, thru the use of some, limited Bible stories, prayer; for help w/ heart issues, behaviors, & attitudes. We really CARE & grow to quickly LOVE the kids; and show it thru taking really great care of them, and also thru really listening to the things;(Issues & struggles, & concerns), they are going thru and trying to help.
