Our client in Northern Columbus is looking to hire 1st and 2nd shift Maintenance Technicians! This company has been providing custom packaging for over 25 years to America's most respected Brands in food, pet food, and other consumer packaging industries. 2nd shift - 4 pm - 12:30 am Monday - Friday Pay will be based on experience! Some of the Essential Job Functions: * Effectively and efficiently operate all equipment used in the production process * troubleshoot electrical issues * Respond to daily Maintenance requests in a timely fashion to minimize equipment downtime * Provide emergency/ unscheduled repairs of production equipment * Strictly Adhere to all safety rules, policies and procedures * Proficient in reading electrical schematics. * Maintain accurate and timely records of,maintenance performed Job Requirements: * Prior experience with packaging equipment is preferred * Ability to quickly and effectively learn to operate and maintain various types of packaging equipment * Proficient in the proper use of power and hand tools * Strong electrical troubleshooting abilities * Good time management * Good Written and verbal skills in English * must be a good team player, self starting and enthusiastic to continuously improving. * Open to working earlier or later than scheduled shift when needed.. * high school graduate or equivalent preferred.
