Thrasher UMC, Vinton, VA, is seeking a part-time Organist-Accompanist, approximately 6-8 hours weekly. Works with the Director of Music to provide a meaningful and positive worship experience for the congregation, both in-person and virtually. Primarily responsible for providing quality organ/piano music for one traditional Sunday worship service (currently 11:00am) and accompanying choirs, ensembles, and soloists. Some special services are required, as well as first rights of refusal for funerals and weddings. Priority given to candidates with a degree in music or relevant training and professional experience of three or more years in a church setting.
