We were in contact with a "breeder" with papers and had no reason not to believe what she was telling us. Long story short, at the pickup she said he wasn't feeling well because of the dewormer they had given him the night before. We had no reason to not believe her and she also said they had given him some amoxicillin. We took him home and 24 hours later we were in the emergency vet because his first excretion was bloody. Come to find out, he tested positive for parvo. The vet confirmed that with the timeline it is very unlikely that he contracted parvo in our home. We adhered to the protocol provided by the vet, antibiotics and fluids. This puppy died this morning. This breeder can now not be found. The registration paperwork is fraudulent. We are trying to find her. the phone number we have for her is . There were two others in his liter. The paperwork has a name of Randy Biffle.
