Position Objective: Foster good employee/customer relations and build team effort. Job Summary: • Supervise all work performed of plumbers, work preps, helpers, deliveries, and pickups, etc. • Perform same repair work as a staff plumber in conjunction with work preparers and assisting in work as necessary. • Direct and/or provide on-the-job-training for plumbers, preparers, and helpers. • Requisition supplies for Superintendent • Approve parts are needed for requisitions in conjunction with office admin. • Complete job times, tasks, needs, and plans for Superintendent. • Direct point of contact with office personnel on all Superintendent happenings on daily basis, consisting of updating, directing, status reports, completion time frames, etc. • In conjunction with office, perform scheduling and prioritizing work to be performed • Comply and communicate with the shop team all company memos, processes, needs, and happenings. • Observe and enforce all safety procedures. • Direct all plumbing personnel in proper safety procedures. • Confer with Superintendent and office personnel to coordinate smooth workflow. • Ensure proper tools, materials, and other necessary equipment are used correctly, kept organized and in good condition to perform work efficiently. • Assure all completed work meets company standards. • Sit in on plumbing employee performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and plans in accordance with company policies. • Perform other duties as directed by company Superintendent and/or Owner. Qualifications: • Minimum level of education experience in plumbing of 5+ years. • Must be able to read plans and make material list. • 2-5 years of experience in management of staff. • One year of Superintendent experience. • Must have own vehicle. Direct Reports: • Superintendent. • Company Owner. Physical Abilities: To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to: • Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, talk and hear. • Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. • Occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. • Clearly see 20+ feet with or without corrective lenses. Have ability for close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Compensation Package: • Salary DOE
