Description

Participants are wanted for a human research study being conducted at the Northwestern University Chicago campus (240 E Huron St, Chicago, IL, 60611). We are looking for participants for a human research study that does not include clinical trials or drug testing. Participants will complete several activities varying in physical difficulty while wearing a smartwatch, waist worn sensor and plastic breathing mask. Together, these devices will measure energy expenditure. Participants must have a BMI greater than or equal to 30 and must be between 18 and 64 years of age. BMI and age eligibility will be confirmed on arrival to the lab. Compensation: $25 for wearing two devices for 2.5 hours.
