Parakeet For Rehoming

Looking to re-home our parakeet. She is a juvenile approximately 2 years old. She is healthy and tame. She enjoys her seed, rice, lettuce, millet etc. We keep her flight wings clipped just enough so she cannot fly away if the house door were to be open etc. So, she is able to fly mid-level in our home. She will need clipped again soon if now now. We like for our birds to be able to fly some at least. She loves her toys and she makes lots of different sounds. We have cockatiels also so she does make some cockatiel sounds! She can be the sweetest bird but lately she seems a bit territorial to me for some reason. It comes and goes. My little girl says she's fine and just picks her right up! Who knows! So, I don't know. Maybe she needs a cage mate. We do have new baby cockatiels and I just don't like leaving the parakeet cage bound all of the time because of the babies. I don't leave any of my pets caged up until night time. We have a lot of interaction with our pets as they are like family to us. Some history behind her.....I rescued her and a cockatiel that were housed together back in April 2021. I was only looking to rescue a cockatiel but the parakeet would have been left behind and the owner knew nothing about birds as she was left with these two due to a bad situation. So, I told the owner that I could possibly adopt the parakeet out to a good home for her. We ended up keeping the parakeet as my little girl wanted her! That's was NOT my intention! 🙏 Now, I am looking for a GREAT, LOVING, CARING home for this baby! There will have to be a rehoming fee ($20) ONLY because she HAS to go to a GREAT HOME ONLY!🙏 This was an extremely difficult decision to make as we had some time to talk about it and came to the conclusion that it would be what's best for everyone. I will include her food and her favorite toys/swings. I am not sure of what else I may have of hers but I will be including anything else that I have of hers. You will need to provide a cage for her.
