Hello! My name is Quinn (legally Courtney). I am 22 years old and I am hoping to move to Portland in late March. I started nannying 3 toddlers at age 16, often full time, and absolutely fell in love. Taking care of children and providing them with a safe, understanding environment is very important to me. I like to let kids explore their emotions and help them navigate what they are feeling and what they can do with them. Depending on the ages of the kids, I love to show them how to cook and clean, do crafts, play, read books, spend time outside, and engage in their activities. I prefer there to be little to no screen time when I'm with kids- sick days and educational shows being exceptions. I'll be moving back to Oregon to do my doula training, become a lactation consultant, and get my GED (homeschooling). I am happy to help with things around the house, will be renewing my cpr/first aid certifications, and am vaccinated/boosted for covid.
