Description
The Install Assistant is a part-time position that has work opportunities onsite in the field. This work is a good fit for someone who is looking for additional work shifts or has off-hours, weekend availability.
Some installation activities may occur during the evening and overnight hours. Weekend work may be required during major holiday periods. Installations are typically scheduled about two weeks in advance, when possible. There may be weeks where no work is available.
Must be fully vaccinated.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as a helping hand on job sites to ensure projects are completed on time and up to company standards.
Load and unload materials & equipment properly on company vehicles.
When possible, using various hand and power tools to assemble components and fixtures;
Take direction from Install Lead, or Production Manager
Able to have professional interactions with other team members, clients, store employees, and customers.
Demonstrate responsible attendance and punctuality.
Follow all safety & policy regulations on job sites.

Able to lift up to 75 pounds
Able to stand / move for long periods of time
Proactive, hands-on, and possess a can-do attitude
Able to follow directions
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Meet scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and possible holidays
EXPERIENCE
Basic hands-on experience in the production industry or creative field is preferred, but not required.
NOTES
Jobs primarily take place in the New York and New Jersey Metro area.
The work hours vary, primarily based on the scheduling of each job. Candidates with open availability are highly preferred (days, nights, or weekends).
