I lost my best friend, my Pekingese mix, last Aug. I didn't think I ever was going to get another but the time has come to start looking. I have a cat I rescued who is sweet n shy and loved my other dog, so I'm pretty sure a puppy would be fine to train them up together. I take my dog everywhere. I'm on disability for PTSD and he was my service dog. Don't need that as much anymore, but next one will be companion animal, going everywhere with me as well, just waiting in my Jeep for me to go inside 10-30 min. I allow my animals to be themselves. It's important to let them be individuals and not punish them when they're just learning, just like a baby. I'm the kindest, most loving animal caretaker. Animals are my passion. Been waiting for one to come to me to be rescued, but thought I'd put this out there just in case. No huge muscular fighting breeds. Lab or golden retriever fine but medium size and mixes preferred as well. Low hair maintenance (short?) would be nice (after Pekingese ;) Fav thing to do is go hiking out in the forest or beach with no people, off leash, with a trained dog who stays close. Then sit in the sun enjoying all the sights, sounds, and smells. We are outdoors as much as weather allows, then come back to our cozy home. **Please don't try to scam me.
