I found him a couple of months ago. He was in bad shape. I tried to find his owner and even looked up his chip. No one claimed him, so he's been hanging out at my house for the past couple of months. I got his shots and registered him. He's five years old. Very very gentle. He's a little over 50 lbs now (he weighed a lot less when I found him. Always happy (he's a lab). The problem is that I'm in the Army Reserves and my life is not set up for a dog at this time. I have to leave home for a week to couple of months at a time and he can't come along. So now I'm looking for someone who will take care of him and give him a better home than I can considering my requirement to travel.
