Idk why my post was flagged but I have 2 female parakeets that I was given by a family member who didn't have time for them, they would be happier with someone who knows how to take care of birds. They won't let me hold them but they don't bite, just scared so I think they might have the potential to be hand tamed if you take the time to do it. I have a travel cage for you to take them home in but it's definitely not big enough to be their permanent home. They do great with outside of the cage time, kinda just hang out on the top but don't really venture further than that. A small $20 rehoming fee and they stay together
