GOLF COURSE EQUIPMENT OPERATOR AT THE OLD NORTH STATE CLUB Overview As part of the golf course maintenance staff, equipment operators work some overtime and occasional weekend work is required. Under supervision of the assistant superintendent, you will perform work involving the use of various types of hand tools and gas powered equipment. A background in golf maintenance or landscaping would be helpful but is not required. Functions *Maintains all areas within the golf course property with various types of equipment. *Ensures equipment is working properly while operating. Refills fuel and cleans equipment daily. Reports equipment problems to the Equipment Manager immediately. *Returns equipment to the designated location at the maintenance facility once task is complete. *Performs other duties as directed by his/her supervisor. *Assist in keeping the operations building clean and organized. Employment Standards *Must be Team oriented. *Must have the ability to follow oral and written directions. *Must be at least 18 and have a valid NC drivers license and reliable transportation. *Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including some weekends.
