Job Summary: The Equipment Technician is responsible for managing and repairing all fitness equipment within franchised studio locations. *Must be willing to travel as far North as Gainesville and as far South as Naples!* Essential Functions: 1. Perform monthly preventative maintenance on all fitness equipment according to the manufacturer’s and Orangetheory Fitness’ guidelines. 2. Accomplish all repairs to the fitness equipment adhering to manufacturer’s standards. 3. Order replacement parts and manage inventory on fitness equipment. 4. Work within expense limits established. 5. Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations. 6. Schedule and complete the "Preventative Maintenance Program". 7. Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors. 8. Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled. 9. Carry cell phone as required for on-call maintenance. 10. Responsible for alerting the General Manager of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or that may occur. 11. Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, city, state and federal guidelines. 12. Ensure compliance of all work-related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner. 13. Ability to lift up to 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly. 14. Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined. Education, Experience, and Qualifications: - High school diploma; or equivalent work experience - Experience in fitness equipment repair, highly preferred - Experience in preventative maintenance - Minimum of 2 years’ experience with lighting, roofing, electrical service calls, etc. - Valid driver’s license and solid transportation for daily travel with insurance, required - Experience in gym/facilities maintenance, preferred - Experience preventative maintenance
